Available payment methods

All payments made within Engo Direct are processed by Stripe/PayPal through secure checkout.

Secure payments

We can assure you that every order you make on our website is safe. We use strict security precautions to make our website safe, including the use of a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) server. Any information you enter while you're using the secure server is encrypted before being transmitted, so it is virtually impossible for an outside party to access or intercept your information.

You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for either a locked padlock icon or an image of a key in your browser’s address bar. Additionally, your web address should start with https: - the ‘s’ indicating it is a secure page. This should appear on any page where you are entering personal information, such as your payment card

Card payment security is covered through MasterCard Secure Code or Verified by Visa.

 

Fraud protection

Both Stripe and PayPal provide fraud protection in the event of unauthorized payment attempts. This is fulfilled with the payment provider’s payment information verification, making sure that the billing information corresponds to the card holder’s/customer’s information.

 

Issues with payments

If you run into payment issues, such as interrupted payments or being charged without an order being confirmed, we are always there to help. Simply contact us by email or phone, and we will investigate the problem within 24 business hours.

  • If the payment is interrupted and no charge has been made, then we instruct you to retry completing your payment during checkout. Keep in mind that any interruption during the payment processing (such as refreshing the page, clicking the "back" button or closing the browser) will likely result in a failed payment. For this reason kindly wait patiently as your payment is being processed.
  • If the payment was charged but the order confirmation was unsuccessful, we will make a full refund to the same payment method used within 1-3 business days.
